Our Accomplishments



March 2009
  • Held second campus wide Iranian New Year celebration at the Union hall of MSU with over 200 attendants.

April - 2008
  • Participated in the International Fiesta Festival 2008.
  • Won the first prize for desert competition (Shole Zard).

March - 2008
  • Conducted campus wide Iranian New Year or Nowrooz celebration at the Union hall of MSU.
  • Presented information on Iranian New Year (available for download).
  • Presented slide show and pictures of Iran's cities and scenes (available for download).

November - 2007
  • Participated in the International Campus Games.
  • Acquired championship title in soccer among nine international teams.

May - 2007
  • Participated in the Starkville City Art Festival.
  • Iran was chosen as a special participant and its booth was placed in the International Village of the Festival.

April - 2007
  • Participated in the International Fiesta Festival 2007.
  • Won the best cultural booth award for display and performance for two consecutive years.

February - 2007
  • Displayed a movie in the Movie night.

November - 2006
  • Participated in the International Campus Games.
  • Won third stage in individual racquetball competition.
  • Won second stage in soccer among ten international teams.

April - 2006
  • Participated in the International Fiesta Festival 2006.
  • Won the best cultural booth award for display and performance.
  • Won first prize for desert competition (Baklava).
